Hello, I know the top line well. Menes
(the gandsire) was the former head sire of Tersk. The Russians didn't go
by pretty. Performing at the track was the only criteria. Now if you were
pretty too that helped. Menes was bought by Michael Weinstein and Aries
Arabians and shipped back to the USA where he bred to the elite of the USA and
was a prolific breeder. He did not or maybe it was the owners
did not make $$$ in USA as they paid high and the market went low .
Menes was sold somewhere in Europe where he bred and his
get won 3 of 4 events in Paris at a world championship. Menes was
better understood in Europe i think. Looking at Menes's pedigree i

OFIR The Head Sire of them all AMIRITH-SAHIB with SKOWRONEK
thrown in. Chagall was a Menes son by Cendenza.
