RE: [RC] race brain- John's video - SHEILA A WALSH

I agree with Rusty about nice round horses. It's hard to keep them that way if they like to stick their head over the fence and rest a hip watching all the action, instead of eating. And then high fat foods dampen their appetite. So, I feed the high fat stuff after they've filled up on their hay and it seems to be helping my girl keep her girlish figure.

As Winston Churchill said, "No hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle." As Shakespear wrote in Henry V, "When I bestride him, I soar, I am like a hawk; he trots the air, the Earth sings, when he touches it; the basest horn of his hoof is more musical that the pipe of Hermes."

Funny, I did not see any horses out of control. It looked as sane as AERC
ride. I did however notice a large number of horses that looked like they
needed food! Many looked boney and not healthy to me, but I like them
roundish with muscle rather than skin and bone, horses should not look like
greyhound dogs in my humble opinion.

Cheers,

R
