Re: [RC] - Karen SullivanConfined how? With limited exercise? i can;t imagine anyone taking a confined fit horse and running it hard....it would be a certain recipie for a tie up....right? As for manners and safety, I'm sorry but if a horse is too much of an amped up idiot to stand for P and R and vet check......without putting the P and R person or vet at risk for their life; then maybe the horse should not be in that situation. Don't we hammer at the newbies and 25 milers that their horses have to be behaved for the vet, and don't they get scolded by some of the vets if the horses don;t submit safely for an exam? Why kind of hypocrosy is it to put a more stringent set of rules on newbies than those experienced at the sport? I dare anyone to confine a fine tune fit Arab for 5 days then expose it to some excitment and see what happens. Can,t believe this even needs an explaination. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TRAINING!!!!!
