[RC] RC was WEC now election commentary - Mary KraussSteph,I gotta ditto Angie in the sense that nearly half the country voted for McCain and may feel a bit beat up today. I'm not impressed by poor sportsmanship by the winning team at any time, but particularly dislike it after such a hard-fought and, in the end, honorable election. One doesn't have to dislike Obama in order to prefer McCain's centrist policies (he's NOT George Bush) and personal history of incredible sacrifice for our country. For many of us, Obama's social and economic policies have sounded alarming to say the least. Having said that, his election is transformational for people of color and inspiring for the world at large. I'm humbled other countries care about us this much and hope Obama lives up to some very high expectations. I am very sad that John McCain will not get the chance to show what a centrist, humanitarian, pragmatic, and peace-loving man he really is outside the Republican Party's spin room. I wouldn't have chimed in, but you brought it up! Off to check on the new black pony who's missing her goats....(true story) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
