[RC] BLM Permits - Lynn White

I have yet to encounter a bad motorcyclist or 4-wheeler.  I think however the 
group dynamics of an event can bring out the worst behavior in people.  What 
needs to be done is to make the BLM managers and that club aware of the damage 
and come up with ideas to prevent it in the future.  The BLM may be just as 
pissed as Merri is, but if they don’t know about the damage nothing will be 
done about it.   The BLM may not give this organization another permit for an 
event in that district if the organizers don’t clean up their mess.  It’s 
as simple as that, especially if the BLM knows WE are watching them.  The most 
effective way of dealing with organizations is holding them accountable for 
their actions.   Once this motorcycle club looses their ability to put on 
events on public lands, they will be very careful in the future.
