[RC] Friends of the Weiser River Trail Survey - Dot Wiggins

As has been said many times, trails are an important for endurance riding. Here is a chance to support 85 miles of multiple use recreational trail, the longest rail-trail in Idaho. This trail hosts an annual endurance ride, a multi-day wagon train trip, a large bicycle ride, and a number of other events throughout the year.

Thank you to those that responded to my request for folks to take this survey!! There were quite a few!! Horse back riders now out number the bikers by a few and hikers by many (:>)
I'm not in any way against bikers or hikers on the WRT, they are large part of the membership. I just don't want our equestrian's needs to get over shadowed by
other users.

If you haven't already joined the Friends of Weiser River Trail please consider joining. Memberships are a large part of funding for yearly
maintence. We are approaching 100 new members for 2008, please help us meet this goal.

Our Web site has a poll running to find what kind of activities people are interested in doing on the trail, and what improvements they would like to see FWRT accomplish in the future.
Currently we have more bikers and hikers responding to the survey than equestrians..
In order to help us keep our BOD aware of horseback riders interests in future WRT development please take a minute to fill out the survey.

Sometimes it seems not welcoming, just keep trying.
