A large 2,000 ac fire is burning in the AnglesNational Forest
on the west side of little Tujunga and LopezCanyons.
They are calling it the Marek Fire. It looks like it is where the Sunland,
Santa Get and Go ride is held. With 40 mph winds gusting to 60 mph predicted, I
am praying for our fellow riders and fire personnel. I am also hoping and
praying this is not a repeat of what happened last year and in ’03.
