Re: [RC] need a vet check near Ridgefield, WA - Diane TrefethenHi Steven,Even if you buy a horse for just pleasure riding, it is not a bad idea to stipulate that the horse must pass a pre-purchase exam for Endurance or the deal is off. That way you're likely to get a more rigorous exam with the horse having to meet higher parameters in order to pass. Also, if the vet knows/thinks you plan to do Endurance with the horse, s/he will be especially likely to warn you of any existing conditions that might interfere with your plans.
