RE: [RC] How much hay do you feed and what kind? - Chastain, Shannon L.I am in NW MO and have two horses one Arab one Mustang. I feed about a bale a day it is brome with some prairie grass, 50 to 65 pound bales and I pay from $1.85 to $3.50 for very high quality hay. They do get 1 pound of BP with supplements and ground flax seed twice a day.
