Glad to see this topic come up. I have always been paranoid about
having my neck adjusted because of these stories you hear and just the idea
that somebody gives my head a sharp jerk gives me the creeps. Of course, I
think chiro work is fantastic for my horse! lol

Some years ago, I had a chiropractor who was so rough that
the palms of my hands would start to sweat when he walked into the room.
I knew I was going to see stars when he "cracked" my neck. Since then,
I've found a very gentle chiropractor who uses a tool called an
Activator. It's a little hand-held device that he can set the pressure
on and he just gently taps the exact spot needed on my neck (or spine) and it
doesn't hurt. You might ask your chiro. to use an Activator. I'm
sure Dr. Q can explain this better than I.
