Those of us who love using Tenn. Walking Horses are dismayed by the breeding 
for the Big Lick show horses. These "show horse prospects " are bred to pace 
not Tenn. Walk. The pace becomes a Big Lick stride, which is sooo ugly to 
watch, when "training "and big pads are added. 95% of the breed is used for 
pleasure/trail riding yet the show horse folks are ruining the gene pool and 
the breed characteristic of a running walk. It sucks.
