Ten pounds of Strategy?? Yikes! There is no substitute for a high forage diet, and giving him feed in a concentrate form will hinder his developing and properly utilizing his hindgut function. Give him ALL the good grass hay he will eat, supplement with a flake of alfalfa, and give him a good vitamin-mineral supplement in a HANDFUL of some kind of concentrate, so that he eats it. Check his teeth (yep, younguns have dental issues) and perhaps consider a fenbendazole purge, given his stuntedness, but don't go with concentrates/supplements--you will be doing him a big disservice in the long run.
