I still remember him trying to race the crew vehicles going down the road past us, and me saying "Slow down, dammit!". He was 2 weeks away from his 25th birthday ...My current horse is pure Polish, and I would judge him as generally hotter than Shadow was. He can be very calm - deer and turkeys popping out of the bushes don't bother him at all, but a race? A group ride? My biggest issue with him right now is 'race brain'. So - based on my 2-horse study, I would say that you can get hot horses in the Polish lines as much as the others.
