We would like to say Thank-you to the McCrary
family and the volunteers of the Swanton Pacific for hosting a terrific ride. We
have always wanted to attend this ride and when we heard this was to be the
final one we knew we had to make the 9 1/2 drive there. The Base Camp was
surrounded by gorgeous Redwood trees and a nice cool breeze. It was great to
meet old friends and make new ones. We even had the opportunity to meet other
C.H.P. Familys to the delight of Gene, who loves to talk "shop". The ride start
was smooth and uneventful and the ride itself was breathtaking. We feel so
fortunate to be able to have participated in the final run of the Swanton, and
it surely will go down in our books are the " Most Beautiful Ride" we have ever
done. Thank you Barb and Lud for hosting this ride.
