I'm only speaking from my own experience. I'm sure there are lots of
tough competitors in every discipline. I did say I DID know some people
who left their horses out, and treated them like real horses, but in 20 years of
working with all disciplines of riding, the hunter/jumper people seemed to be in
the majority as far as coddling their horses....AND seemed to have the most
injuries. As in every blanket statement, there are always
exceptions. But I'm just relating what I've seen with my own little
eyes.
