[RC] Felt girth and sticky weeds - Angie FuraHi - I just switched to a felt girth because my horse was getting rubbed by neoprene. My horse loves the felt, but its driving me crazy when we ride through weeds, which unfortunately, is a lot this time of year. It gets covered in burs, prickers, jaggers, and every other sticky weed thingee. I pick them off after each ride, but I feel like I'm tearing half the girth away.
Are there any tricks to keeping a felt girth clean?
