Re: [RC] Polar HRM - Sharon LevasseurJust now catching up on RC.Yes, this is very common with the new Wearlink belt. Do NOT lose those little velcro straps it came with... and make sure you attach them so that the smooth side is toward the horse. In that scenario, I have not yet had one come loose. If you want a sure-er solution, get some Velcro One-Wrap and use that to secure the belt to the girth on both sides. Downside of that... you have to put the scratchy side of the velcro against the Wearlink belt (so that it won't bother the horse) and that might harm it over time. -Sharon L. in Maine Quoting D'Arcy Demianoff-Thompson <cest.mon.virage@xxxxxxxxx>: I used the Polar HRM on the Fireworks ride. I didn't have a battery issue. I did, however, have an issue with the belly band. On the last 7 miles it slipped all the way to the back of the hindquarters. Now I know coming out of the river the climb up the hill was pretty steep. Is this a common issue with this type of system? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
