Lori, This is Vicky Vaughan, Yosemite Equine Services. AERC M#31913 I am responding to your request on ridecamp. Below is a short bio on the company:
We are a horse Transportation Company based out of North Fork CA. just north east of Fresno Ca. We are insured for Commercial
Liability with National Liability & Fire Insurance Company, Our cargo Insurance is with Lloyds of London. USDOT1750915, MC641357.
Our primary concern is getting the horses to their new home in the very best possible condition. The horses have hay and water in front of them 24/7, especially in the summer time. We stop every 3 to 4 hours to fuel the truck and check the horses's water. We stop every 6 to 8 hours for a meal and also to let the horses take a break. Our trailer is a 6 horse head to head; we can take a horse out of his/her stall to check him without disturbing the entire load of horses. If the horse is an easy traveler we will let him/her travel untied. If they need special attention we have a camera system so we can evaluate at all time the horses needs. If we are hauling a breeding stallion, we have a private stall that is 5' X 8' in the nose of the trailer to accommodate his
special needs.
You mentioned that the horse is going to ID....but shipping from where? We have a trip on the books north/south on the west coast for next week, and then one leaving from central cal to montana, SD, SC and returning to ca via tx at the end of the month.
Let me know if these trips fit your needs!
