| Re: [RC] [RC] [RC] Barefoot, then shoeing for E-rides only - Kathy Mayeda - Donna O'GaraI used the old style easyboots on a horse I rode several years ago. They were a good fit, so they were easy to put on and off and they always stayed on until I took them off. My present horse isn't a good candidate for easyboots, with her wide feet. I know if I put them on they wouldn't stay on. I've thought of designing shoes just for her, but I'm sure I won't bother. I'd like to be able to send a cast of her feet to someone who would make perfectly fitting boots for her. I don't think there's anybody who'd do that though. Maybe an opportunity for someone. Donna - and little black Zammy I used to have massive Easyboot fears, but got over them with the Epics.I've used them on a few LD's without any problems, except for an occassional buckle popping up, which is an issue that's easily fixed with cotter pins. A lot of the problems with the older models have been addressed with the newer Easyboots. K.
