[RC] Hay woes.... - thmeyerThe fact that the hay got rained on right after it was cut is not the worst thing in the world. If you get two or three nice drying days, and the hay gets put up dry, it will still be fine for your horses. Don't fret. If it gets rained on for several days in a row, not necessarily good. And it's particularly bad if they hay is dry, or nearly so, and then gets rained on again. Very, very bad if they hay gets rained on after it's raked. Sprinkle isn't so bad, but a storm that dumps more than an inch of rain isn't good.Theresa in MN http://toolbar.Care2.com Make your computer carbon-neutral (free). http://www.Care2.com Green Living, Human Rights and more - 8 million members!
