[RC] Just for bringing suit - k s swigart

Beth Walker said:

It is possible that a situation could arise where a
rider would have a legitimate reason for bringing
suit. In such cases, the rider shouldn't be banned
from rides "just because he brought suit".

I can think of a reason for denying future entries to a rider "just
because he brought suit."

If you entered my ride, when you signed the entry, part of doing so
included an agreement NOT to bring suit.

If you brought suit anyway after having agreed not to, you are in clear
violation of the terms and conditions of entering the ride (i.e. you
broke one of the ride rules). So yes, just bringing suit will give me
cause for denying you entry if for no other reason than that you have
demonstrated yourself to be untrustworthy.

However, one can achieve virtually the same thing without actually
denying entry. There is NOTHING in the AERC's rules that says you
cannot be discriminatory in how much you charge (or any other
conditions) people for entering your ride. So...just require the person
to pay a $1 million entry fee.
