Re: [RC] Pull codes - Michael MaulJohn is right in that once a pull code has been assigned and the horse removed from competition - there is no change in the pull code even if later developments indicate something else. The rider and the vet make the best decision they can at the time of the pull. Here's an example of that. I've been asked at several rides how long after completion can a horse be treated and still keep it's completion. The correct answer is that the horse can be treated at any time after completion. Once completion is given - it cannot be withdrawn. Of course there are other circumstances where a completion could be withdrawn but those involve drug tests, protest results, and non-medial circumstances. mike John Teeter wrote: I think, agreeing with Barbara, the RO-M would have been stated by the rider at the time of withdrawal. The post withdrawal vet evaluation should also have been performed at this time. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
