Not only are there no hills at the Kentucky Horse Park, but if the 2010 WEC 
uses the same 'course' as the current Pyramid Challenge Ride held there, then 
the majority of the ride will not be on the Horse Park grounds but on adjacent 
farms where you will ride the perimeters of a seemingly endless series of farm 
fields.  A long section of which goes along a major highway - Interstate 75.  
Too bad they are so inflexible on holding the endurance ride off site because 
there are beautiful trails about an hour away at Daniel Boone State Park.

I for one enjoyed your post and agree with it.

However, in this paragraph (below) you mentioned the 'hills of Kentucky'.  We 
do 
have some wonderful hills and trails in KY, but they aren't in the Kentucky 
Horse Park where the endurance race will be held...sorry to say.  It too will 
be 
a flat race.  Too bad the powers that be would not budge on their selection 
for 
the endurance section of the event.
