i *may* have the oportunity coming up soon to get a coming two year old
arab colt for free. he is beautiful, with a great temporment, and comes form
the kimosabi (sp?) line. he is slightly cow hocked though. does this really
matter that much? i mean, for trail riding, i've rode plenty of cow hocked
horses that moved out just fine, but i wonder about for long distances? i
don't plan on breaking him for quite awhile, my friend raises arabs and says
they should be broke later, like at 4. just wondering if i should be looking
at him as just a trail horse, or as possibly an endurance prospect? i don't
currently ride endurance, but have always wanted to, just havn't found the
right horse. i have two arabs already, a polish/egyptian cross, and a crabbet,
but neither are suitable for it.
