[RC] trailer loading issue - Tara M Sheppard - shermanDo you have floor mats on that bare floor? Some of my stall mats have grooves in them, if these mats were placed so the grooves went from side to side in the trailer rather thanfromt to back, I believe they would keep a horse from slipping and would be easier to add than a ramp. Another thought, get an old pair of unwanted easy boots from someone, use them when trailering. Kathy O.k. - so I worked with my gelding on the trailer loading thing today. This is what i see: He steps up into the trailer with the front feet and they both slide forward. This is on a bare floor (I do not use shavings in the trailer) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
