[RC] EPSSM - Drin Becker

I am in the process of getting my mare back into condition to do some rides
this fall . This mare competed usefully for a few years in endurance until
she started tying up at rides (twice in two years) she was than given two
years off to heal up and just be a trail horse . This spring we ran her
blood which came back A Okay so our next step was a muscle biopsy which came
back positive for Equine Polysaccharide Storage Myopathy . I am working with
my vet and following Dr. Beth Valentine's diet (who did the lab work on my mare)
Ruff is conditioning well and acting great with our goal to be the Sept. Owyhee
5 day ride . I am just curious if there are others out there competing on
horse's with this condition ? If so I would sure like to visit with you .
