Re: [RC] One butt two horses - Keith KiblerCarrieNo, the grass is not always greener. We are blessed and I know it and am extremely thankful. Our place is 7 minutes from our house. My practice is in a small town. We built our house in a subdivision and then bought the ground around the subdivision for a farm. So, we could build two barns outside the covenants of the subdivision. We get to watch the horses out of two sides of the house whenever we are at home. Life can be very good. Keep pluggin and believing. Keith http://www.shawneesunrisefarm.net/ Kitley, Carrie E Civ USAF AFSPC 30 MDSS/SGSLF wrote: Belinda - I envy YOU! You said: " when I finally get home, we have 25 horses to feed." I live in a little tract home in a cramped neighborhood, board my 3 horses for $450/mo (3 is max for us). I'd give anything to have my horses on my own property, have MORE horses, and only work afternoons. :) I work fulltime, can't afford property out here (too expensive!), have two kids (still teenaged) and I'm lucky if I can put 10-20 miles on my mare in a week. I still manage to schedule in a few LDs whenever possible though. I suppose the grass is always greener no matter where we are. lol =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
