Sister Madonna Buder is a 78 year old nun from Spokane Wash. She is a friend of mine from my (maybe former due to how this endurance thing has bit me) life as a triathlete. She is an ironman. That means she swims 2.4 miles (usually in the ocean), bike races 112 miles, then runs a 26.2 mile marathon. All of this has to be done under 17 hours to be official.
