We had originally put foam sheet insulation between the overhead
metal trailer bases and the paneling was going to attach directly to the braces.
Instead, we "stripped it out" using screws to attach wooden strips over the
metal braces, then attached the paneling to the wood strips. After Jody's
suggestion we made sure we used stainless steel screws.
In case you haven't seen it, an endurance rider made a *great* website
showing how he "pimped his ride". We're not going that far because I'd rather
"camp" than have one more house to clean, but it's a great site.
