I to would have liked a ride sooo very much close to home. I have been continuing short 10-12 mile conditioning rides but both my mare and myself were having difficulty in breathing so it is for the best. My vet said with the huge particulate volume in the air it could do permanent damage so why stress your self out. There is always another ride I for one am going to buy my mare a whole water melon on the 4th for herself. Happy and safe 4th to one and all. Take time to remember our son's and daughters over sea's fighting for our freedoms.

I am SO bummed. Just got the call yesterday that ride management had to cancel
