Re: [RC] Big Brown's shoe - Dot WigginsSomewhere on down the list of sites about Big Brown Shoe there is one that leads off with the words "Guadalcanal steps on"-------- It was one of the leading on the list now it's down aways. It has 11 pictures that are really interesting. To me it looks possible the shoe may have been putting pressure under the wall or even frog at some point. While there would likely not be any visible injury doesn't mean it didn't hurt. An older, more seasoned horse might have "run through the temporary pain" and unbalanced stride, but he's a baby yet. The way the horse was squirreling around as Kent D pulled him, that shoe could have been anywhere, they are pretty light, a powerful horse could rip them around. As to the trainer, it is tough to be shoved into the limelight all at once. How many of us could do it better under pressure? We can all second guess anything, but it's kinda fun speculating. See how the next races go. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dolores Arste" <darste3@xxxxxxxxxx> To: "Dot Wiggins" <dotwgns@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>; "ridecamp" <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, June 29, 2008 5:45 AM Subject: Re: [RC] Big Brown's shoe
