[RC] Fireworks careful - steve shawThe last two times I have assisted at the Fireworks Ride I have seen horses injured crossing the river. There is a channel at the crossing, but if a horse gets off the side or the rocks have moved the horses can slip. All the rocks there are mossy so you really have to pick your way across. If your horse is buddied up with another you don't want your buddied horse on the other side and yours charging across to get to him. Both should cross at the same time. This year may not be so bad as the water is WAY low and easier to see the rocks or maybe RM may be able to move some..... Steve Shaw
