Re: [RC] Fireworks as a begginer ride(now buddy up) - Trailrite
Good advise Sandy. But what are you going to say to them when they
ask....NO. I get asked a lot but I just try and be quite or change my
riding around so much that they don't want to ride with me anymore. I've
tried that NO answer and it seems to hurt their feelings a lot. It should
be pre arranged if you want to ride with someone but sometimes it just happens
out on the trail. It's a hard call

it is also important in a case like this that if one desires to join
another rider or even more, draft off of them, ASK PERMISSION! Do NOT just
assume it is okay to just pull in behind someone and let them pull you in.
Ask. Why? Perhaps THEY are on a green horse and managing just fine, than you,
until YOU pull your horse up behind them. Having experienced the results of
that type of rudeness, I get a bit ruffled when I hear of people doing just
this. Just ask. Manners can go a long way. Might save you horse from getting
kicked in the chops, too
