when you come off. Bikes aren't so bad about that.

Oh I don't know.  I keep forgetting I'm not sixteen.  I had my husband pull 
my old road bike down from where it was hanging in the barn and went out the 
other afternoon for my first bike ride in a very long time, thus disproving 
that old saw about never forgetting how to ride a bike.

The foolish think spooked at a deer ( I will swear to that), I hit gravel, 
blew a tire, didn't get one foot out of the clip, did a face plant in the 
gravel and the rear wheel went end over the front.

At 66, I am sporting a road rash nose.  And I'm embarrassed at having a 
wreck that didn't involve a horse.
