Masochistic is more like it.  At least that's what I've heard from 
non-endurance peeps.  Lol  They think we're all loco.  My sweet 94 year old 
Grandma keeps saying "I don't understand the point of these rides."  I don't 
understand why people want to run marathons either, but I admire them for it 
anyway.  :)
