Re: [RC] More of the Big Brown Story - a.hoinsIf you watch the replay of the race you see some rough handling of the colt by Kent D. in the first quarter. Looks to me that he was real worried about getting boxed in early and took a gamble moving to the outside when he did. He was in the irons and bridle bigtime holding BB up to move him over. Was that enough to put the colt off and for BB not respond when Kent D asked him for the gas? Or was it the lack of steroids...? Ann Louise
Keeping up on the latest on the BB debacle at the Belmont the news now says Detrow the trainer has placed the blame on Kent D. the jockey who pulled up BB when he said the horse just didn't have it that day. I've already said they with held the steroids the horse was used too but in the news it said also they witheld the regular dose of electrolytes...Duh, it was a hot and humid day and you with held electrolytes??? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
