[RC] Stainless steel parts - Tx TriggerLucy posted:>>> For the last 8 years or so I've been looking for a particular type of snap that I really like and have no idea where I originally got them from. Every hardware store I go in, I always check to see. And there they are on this website! Who knew they were called "bit snaps"...?<<< Lucy, you should have asked! <grin> I have used bit snaps for years.(and knew the names of them) My favorite use, is to snap the font D off my Pommel Pack, to a ring on my breastcollar, to keep the bounce down. Bit snaps were used at one time, to attach a snaffle bit to the halter rings. I think more for in hand use, than riding. And for english curb chains that are too long Kathy, just cut OFF those extra rings so they do not dangle. The site also has pad eyes, and footmans loops, which are great for adding to ones pommel or under the cantle to attach packs to.
