RE: [RC] ENTRY FEES - Karen StandeferAnd, everyone can put their flyers on the AERC website ride calendar as well. -----Original Message----- From: ridecamp-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ridecamp- owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of heidi@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx One of the really good things that our regional organization (PNER) does is put out a yearly handbook at the beginning of the ride season. RMs pay a small fee to have their ride flyers printed in the handbook-- and it is WAAAY cheaper than mailing them out individually! Riders like it, too, because there is ONE booklet with all of the ride flyers in it, plus information about PNER rules and awards, and other goodies. Additionally, if an RM buys a handbook ad, they get an ad in the monthly PNER newsletter prior to their ride as part of the price. The ride flyers also go up on the PNER website. When I was actively putting on rides, I only printed and mailed flyers to those out-of- region riders (or non-PNER members) who requested them--BIG savings, and better coverage, because the RM doesn't have to worry about people who have changed addresses, etc. Heidi =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
