Yes, several of my neighbors
have had big problem with low trailer ground clearance. I was told the
low trailers were to keep the trailer center of gravity low and thus was considered
a safety issue. One neighbor tore all the lines from the bottom of her
brand new living quarters as she pulled into her street coming home from the dealer.
It was a mess and took forever to get fixed. Another neighbor took her
new horse trailer directly to a trailer welding shop and had the brand new 2
horse trailer lifted. They had not had any problems with it.
If I had a low clearance trailer
I would have it lifted by a reputable shop. This all seems so crazy!
