There are millions of stories of people who have done just this and gotten well. In my very humble opinion the medical community is not what it used to be. It is simply a general hit and miss technique. Just look at the drug issues with the kids today. Many doctors saying that they really don't know the effects of the drugs they are using. And, to keep this horse related my mare was diagnosed with Cushings. After lots of work and figuring out what would help her, what helped her best was to let her loose with a vast choice of things to eat. She choose what was best and is well and on no drugs.
