[RC] HRM question - Betsy Thomas

Okay, now it's time to blush and confess that I've had a HRM hiding in the back of my sock drawer since Christmastime but at the time my little mare was out of shape and giving me a lot of trouble behavior- wise so I got all bummed out and threw the HRM into the drawer thinking I'd never actually need it.

It has an instructional CD which I will look at after dinner but in the meantime, what do I need to know about this thing that won't be in the instructional CD? It's a V-Max basic monitor.

Yay, the geek in me loves the idea of having electronic sensors on my horse. Will this thing actually work?
