As a Florida
rider I found the trail tough but very do-able. I enjoyed every last minute of
my 8.50 hour ride time. The beauty of the Mountain Laurel, the ruggedness of
the rocks and the spectacular views that we don’t get from mountains in Florida were enjoyed
tremendously. Next year I won’t worry about not finishing on time and
will bring a camera!
The vets were the best, thank you all.
My husband crewed for me and did fantastic for not really
knowing what to do.
My horse never let me down and was galloping to the
finish! I think he smelled the trailer!
I visited with many old friends and met many new friends at
the camp site. The weather and location was perfect for lots of socializing
before and after the ride.
I am so glad I had the opportunity to do this ride and
hope to do it again next year!
