[RC] santa cruz mtns fire help needed - see msg - martha merriamforwarded from another board...Dear SMCHA Members, I just received a call from one of our friends/SMCHA Member, Joan Ravier, who works with the Bay Area Traffic Control and she has been notified of a major fire that is taking place in the Santa Cruz County Area. Currently they are staging the Command Center at the Santa Cruz Fairgrounds and she said that they are now requesting help moving horses. They are looking for volunteers with horse trailers. If any SMCHA Members are available they are to call (408) 314-5251 for more information. Please forward this email to all of your other equestrian friends ASAP.
