Re: [RC] [RC] ultium problems?? - Carla RichardsonI have not had any problems feeding Ultium to my horses. They like it. I usually mix it with beet pulp and make a mash, about 1:3 ratio of Ultium to beet pulp. Sometimes at a ride I feed a bit of straight Ultium at the vet check, but mostly just grass or grass/alfalfa hay. The week before a ride, I feed a wet mash of Ultium mixed with beet pulp, to be sure my horse is really well hydrated for the long trailer ride (sometimes up to 12 hours trailering, a long day). It could be a coincidence that people have experienced problems with their horses, and they were feeding Ultium. It could be something else causing the problem, and nothing to do with the Ultium. Just a thought.
