Re: [RC] [RC] A lesson learned the hard way - Maryanne GabbaniMost of mine are barefoot since we have nice footing for riding and they aren't ridden to death, thank heaven. But so many people here I've spoken to have come over with that "Omigod, where did I see that scrap of rope?" look on their faces when I told them about Tinguely. I have 4 grooms and 2 gardeners on staff here (low wages in Egypt and nothing at all in the way of anything easy make this both necessary and possible) who have had me chasing them to pick up bits of plastic or paper or feed bag all the time. Apparently it's sinking in because a friend who was here while they were treating Tinguely was very impressed that they collected every bit of the wrappings of the Ringers, syringes and canulas and put them into a bag to be thrown out. All too often people just leave them lying around. Having shown them what a hunk of rope turns into in a horse stomach, they are being even more careful.Maryanne On Jan 7, 2008 4:10 PM, Ranelle Rubin <raneller@xxxxxxx> wrote:
