Had a question. My horse goes barefoot all winter-as she stays outside. The other day I rode her-not hard just walking over snow. When I got back I let her rest. Snow had formed "ice stilts" in her hooves. Does putting Vaseline on the hoof prevent this?
I have not found much that works well. Pam spray works somewhat.
