Re: [RC] Phoenix riding - rjkoppHey, can I do a 'me too' on this info?? I am going to be in Scottsdale the first weekend of April and can easily tack on a few days before or after to do some riding. I had a great time this past summer in Colorado riding with Carol Nieuwenhuizen. I called her out of the blue ( she was going to be ride manager for a ride in Colorado) and asked about riding. To make a long story short - she and her husband invited me out and she took me riding in the mountains. What an unbelievable way to see the Aspen area!! She will vouch for me that I am well behaved, buy dinner at nice restaurants, pay for gas and generally try to help! So, if anyone near Scottsdale/Phoenix would like a training partner for a few days I would love to ride in the desert. I have accomodations and can rent a car if necessary. My husband is a rider too but does not do endurance. Thanks!
