Just want to share with Ridecamp friends that the Red Hills 25/50 out of Otto, Wyoming went off beautifully this year. ?It was very questionable on Friday when it was still snowing here in Cody just 45 miles away from the ride camp. ?I know that several of our endurance friends, like Marirose Six, did not make it over the mountains due to the snow storm. ?However, Saturday turned out to be absolutely gorgeous and the footing was perfect. ?It was in the mid to upper 60s with sunshine. ?Although it was a small group due to the weather on Thursday and Friday, everyone there was so glad they took the leap of faith and came to the ride. ?There were 8 starters in the 50 with seven completions and at least 10 in the 25 miler and I think everyone completed in that distance. ?The marking was perfect and no one got lost! ?Yeah! ?Thanks to the Tolman family and to our beloved and ever faithful vet, Dr. Lyle Bischoff, for making our local rides possible. ?With the price of gasoline, it means so much. ?Cindy
