Re: [RC] Stirrups for English Saddles - Truman PrevattHeidi,I absolutely agree about the Webbers being the way to go for English leathers - no buckle under your leg. The bad news is the Wintec Webbers are designed for a synthetic saddle - that will scuff leather pretty bad. The good news is Bates Dressage makes Webbers that are leather covered! Slap on a pair of EZ Ride Stirrups and you are good to go all day long. Truman Vchorsegal@xxxxxxx wrote: *I rode in a Wintec English years ago. It was much better to use the Wintec stirrup "leathers" that are only one flat layer & don't put the lump under your leg. They are much easier to change length on also. I used ez rider stirrups with mine, as I don't find the traditional stirrups comfortable at all ! - Heidi Helly* -- "Mathematics may be defined as the subject in which we never know what we are talking about, nor whether what we are saying is true."
