Ok, so it's not much, just a 25 miler. But I am extremely proud of Willow. She is an 11 year old Swedish Gotland broodmare, that I have been working with. She competed far above what I conditioned her; I wasn't really ready, but she did so well. I loved it, and can't wait for the next ride! We had a few highs and lows. I found out Willow REALLY likes water, and that we need to work more on riding by ourselves. She vetted out with all A's except for a B on gut sounds. In fact she dragged me through the soundness check, still willing to go more. Hah, who says ponies can't do it! If you have time, visit the blog I started to write about my "adventures" with Willow.
